Stan Romanek, a 47-year-old Denver computer technician was ridiculed and laughed at worldwide when he insisted he had filmed the face of an outer space ‘alien’ peeking in his window in 2003.

But his detractors are not so sure anymore. Seven years later, Romanek has become a force to be reckoned with.

Over one million internet users worldwide saw his footage on YouTube. His words were so convincing, his evidence so compelling, that Romanek has appeared on Larry King Live, Fox and Friends, an ABC special and other television shows. He has been heard on scores of radio stations across America.

And he has written a best seller ‘Messages’, The World’s Most Documented Extraterrestrial Contact Story.’ Romanek has also been a featured speaker at international UFO conferences and the subject of careful interviews by renowned scientists.

Stan hasn’t always been associated with what he calls “the high strangeness.” Before them Romanek was just an ordinary man. He did not believe in UFO’s or aliens and found the very thought absurd. It all changed when he said he first observed a UFO and experienced physical effects from it, including: heat or radiation, interference with engines and TV or radio reception.
It began when: “I was trying to get my girlfriend Lisa in Nebraska to visit me in Colorado so I filmed scenic views of the Colorado foothills.

While filming, Stan and dozens of other people witnessed a strange object hovering about 50 feet above the power lines along the road. He described a series of spheres on top of each other that did not spin. Their center was pitch black and seemed to absorb light. It was surrounded by smaller spheres spinning counter clockwise and the entire object was about 20 feet high and 15 feet wide.

It was the first of many encounters he managed to film. Later, his car was surrounded by birds mindlessly diving into it. The suicidal creatures hit so often Stan began to cry. The computer technician also witnessed unexplainable electronic failures. He bought a new computer and watched its hard drive burn out. He ordered so many replacements that his UPS driver asked if he was running a computer business from his apartment.

“Because of the attention my sightings have brought I’ve been able to talk with many high ranking officials, ex military, police officers and top state officials. I now have a group of researchers involved with me who are former agents of the NSA and US Naval intelligence,” he says. He also revealed he’d been alien abducted, physically removed from his home.

“My wife woke up in the middle of the night many times to find I was missing. She found me outside of our house or on the roof with all the door’s deadbolts locked from the inside and me in other peoples clothing. When I returned from abductions my nose was usually bleeding. She found scars on my body that glowed under black light and an ‘operation’ that fixed my injured knee.” He said a surveillance camera he placed in the house videoed flying orbs circling in a room.

Has he ever sought psychiatric help? “Absolutely.I looked for help from professionals. They told me I had post traumatic stress disorder. Had I been in Vietnam or the Gulf War? I grew up in a military family but was never involved with the military. My doctors concluded my post traumatic stress disorder came from experiences I’ve really gone through.”

Why is he being abducted?

‘People always ask ‘why you?’ Why not a lot of people? Well it’s not just me. Other people have experienced strange things too. I am rare because things happen to me when there are a lot of people around. I think the E.T.'s are trying to show me devastations of our planet. I think they are trying to tell us to grow up. I believe the human race is at a crossroads. We can either make it and become enlightened and join whatever is out there or perish by our own hands. I want to enlighten people and tell them we are not alone here.”

“I don’t know what all this means. But it’s really happening. There is so much evidence. A NASA astronomer told me there must be life out there in the universe. He says there are over 300 million planetary systems in our galaxy alone with 300 billion stars and planets rotating around them. There are 400 billion galaxies in the universe that they know of.”

His fame began when Romanek thought he was dealing with a peeping Tom. “Lisa and I married and we moved to her area, Kearney, Nebraska. I was working on my computer one night when someone seemed to be peeking in our windows. We called police, told the neighbors. We thought it was a kid. I ran out, saw nothing, but it happened night after night.

I was already working with researchers because of the UFOs. They suggested I get a night vision camera so I could get evidence. I set up the camera and pointed it towards the window. I really wanted to catch this guy. I turned off the lights and loudly announced I was going to bed. Instead I went into the bathroom and waited.

From there I saw two very bright light flashes outside. I looked out and saw a head. I ran to the window and saw something running away. It was not human. At first I thought it was a child but it ran too fast.” Back inside, he looked at his video and gasped. He had a movie of something peeking in his window.

Romanek wanted to keep his video to himself but someone stole a copy from his home. He finally showed his ‘peeping Tom’ to a Colorado official and was asked to show it at the upcoming “Denver Extraterrestrial Initiative”. It’s sponsors told Stan not to go public until the video was examined by professionals.

No cameras were allowed at the press conference but ten minutes after it ended, said Stan, the stolen video suddenly appeared on You Tube and quickly became a world sensation.
“I was ridiculed and called a faker. Someone made simple copies of my alien video. Others claimed they could reenact my video for under $100. I believe it was intentionally done to make me look like an idiot.”

ABC Television had Stan and his video appear on their prime time show 20/20. “The first producer of Good Morning America and his reporters experienced stuff with their own eyes. At one of my talks two large UFO’s hovered over downtown Denver. Two hundred people at my talk witnessed them along with the ABC producer who was totally shaken. When he wanted to include the evidence in the show he and his crew were fired.”
Equations

Then along came the equations. “After my first abduction experience I had all these symbols in my head. I am a simple man, severely dyslexic and have a hard time doing math division. A therapist asked me to write these symbols down while I was under hypnosis and I did it in a matter of seconds.
These long equations ended up being the structure for Element 115 which at the time of my session did not even exist and was only discovered three years later. I was told another was connected with something called Drake’s Equation. This equation estimates the numbers of potential intelligent life in the universe. Experts said my version had it multiplied by 100 times.”

Romanek was brought to the hypnotherapy session by Dr. Leo Sprinkle, a one-time clinical psychologist at the University of Wyoming. In his 42 year long career Dr. Sprinkle has interviewed or studied cases of over one thousand people who claimed they were either abducted or had contact with extraterrestrials. “I’ve interviewed abductees in England, Finland, Wales, Norway, Portugal, Russia and France. Just about everywhere,” said Dr. Sprinkle.

“Stan is unusual because he not only remembers a lot but also has documented information. He has much more than other people who claim to have been abducted. Stan is a fighter, a very determined individual, who manages to work as a computer technician.”

Dr. Sprinkle said Stan has the ability to relax deeply and gain information through telepathic ability he personally witnessed during many sessions together.” Stan wrote down the equations but had no idea what they meant.”

Some specialists believe Stan Romanek suffers from sleep paralysis. They insist people who believe they have met with extra terrestrial E.T’s are actually asleep during the event.

Sleep paralysis is related to rapid eye movement (REM) that occurs during sleep. Sleep paralysis occurs when the brain awakens from a REM state, but the body paralysis persists. This leaves the person fully conscious but unable to move. Individual may experience panic symptoms, terrifying hallucinations and a sense of danger. Some scientists have proposed this condition as an explanation for alien abductions and ghostly encounters.

Dr. Sprinkle disagrees. ”This is just another hypothesis. The best way to examine this issue is to have a person who suffers from sleep paralysis and their experience compared with actual cases where people were abducted and who had firmly defended their story. Only then can experts conclude from the results.”

Romanek said other equations he wrote baffled top physicists. They had no idea what they meant except that they had something to do with space/time travel.

Dr. Jack Kasher, professor Emeritus of Physics at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, has examined Stan’s equations.” If Stan really wrote those equations in sleep or during hypnotherapy and all of it was filmed and documented, it’s really baffling. Stan’s equations are advanced graduate level physics. He couldn’t write them by himself. Whether someone helped him cheat or he somehow got them off the internet, I don’t know.

“His wife witnessed him writing many of the equations in the dark, while he was still asleep. From having seen the equations Stan came up with and if the aliens are truly feeding him with these equations I can only hope these beings have a purpose. I hope they will enlighten us with some kind of new science that could help humanity. “

Stan has powerful researchers working on his case.
Among them is Dr. Claude Swanson of MIT, Princeton University and Brookhaven National Laboratories. His Ph.D. thesis at Princeton was done in the "Gravity Group," which focuses on experimental cosmology and astronomy.

Says Dr. Swanson, “I’ve became involved in the Romanek case four years ago because he was supposedly writing sophisticated equations in his sleep. I made contact with him slowly over a year or two to make sure he was trustworthy before getting involved. I began to look at the equations more seriously. His more simple equations pertained to zero-point energy or the fluctuation energy in a vacuum.

If it is possible to have more advanced propulsion, then this is one area where I think there could be promise. One of his equations I recognized was something very close to what US scientist Harold Puthoff produced for the American government. The equation, although it is not accepted, is known. “

He explains, “The equation is very non standard. A skeptic could say Romanek is simply copying an equation written by somebody else. In my opinion it is highly unlikely because it is not accepted by main stream physics. The equation presents a way to warp space/time…. Maybe ‘they’ are showing Stan how ‘they’ got here.

“To me, it is a very sophisticated clue. I thought there was content in that equation far beyond Stan’s ability to understand physics. I did not understand the full implications of the equations for a long time. If you are an advanced intelligence and you are trying to communicate with someone of less technology you have to find ways they can understand. It can’t be too far above their heads.”

When asked about skeptics who say Stan is suffering from sleep paralysis, Dr. Swanson answers, ”The problem is there are documented changes. If you suffer from sleep paralysis you don’t wake up with scars that fluoresce under ultra violet light.”

Romanek says the world is going through a strange phase. Volcanic eruptions in Iceland, earthquakes everywhere, oil leaks, tsunamis, disasters… but he doesn’t believe the world is going to end in 2012.

“I believe there is going to be a shift and the first full contact with aliens will take place. There really are things out there. Some of them are good some of them bad. The good ones really seem to try to help us. But there are rules we don’t know...

“I have learned so much. I have learned about things I didn’t know I didn’t know! I am more enlightened as a human being than I could have ever imagined. I get to look outside of the box. I get to understand that there is a lot more out there that we can ever imagine!”
